Aluminum Die-casters association (ALUCAST) ® awards Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited the Best Foundry (Large Scale) Award in December 2022 during their biennial event. This event was held between the 1st to 3rd of December 2022 at The Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. 32 research papers were presented by experts from across the globe and the conference had over 200+ industry delegate participants. On display at the Jaya Hind Industries stall was the latest product range with a special focus on Cylinder Blocks. A total of 9 successfully developed and productionized cylinder block programs were on display. The Cylinder Blocks being complex parts to design, develop and produce were well received by the business visitors.
Also on display were Cylinder Heads, Flywheel Housings, Crank Cases, Gear Box Housings, Transmission Cases, and Structural parts. The array of products showcased our strength in developing parts of different sizes, weights and profiles. All these ‘Made in India’ products have proven their merit with leading domestic and international customers over the years.

Jaya Hind Industries, which has developed its first structural part for an OEM's upcoming model using the high-pressure die-casting route and achieved 35 percent weight saving, believes India Auto Inc can achieve sizeable gains by taking this route.
Jaya Hind says the adoption of aluminum for structural parts has not been on most OEMs' agenda in India, mainly due to the lack of component makers who have the capability to develop such complex parts.

Jaya Hind Montupet Pvt Ltd; a joint venture between Jaya Hind Industries; Pune based Aluminium Die Casting Company and Montupet S.A of France celebrated a grand opening of its ultra-modern Gravity Die Casting foundry at Dewas today.
The factory was inaugurated by Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Abhay Firodia, Chairman Abhay Firodia Group of Industries, Mr. Stephane Magnan, Chairman and CEO Montupet SA, Mr. Didier Crozet Executive Managing Director Montupet and Mr. Prasan Firodia Director Jaya Hind Montupet Pvt Ltd. (JHMPL) were also present on the occasion.
This Joint Venture was formed for the development and manufacture of automotive cylinder heads in India. It will develop complex cast Aluminium components drawing on the engineering strengths of Montupet S.A., and cost efficient manufacturing experience and in-depth market knowledge of Jaya Hind Industries (JHI).
Jaya Hind Industries, the Pune-based aluminum die casting company, will showcase its different products including clutch plates and clutch covers for small commercial vehicles as well as heavy commercial vehicles at this week’s ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 (Pragati Maidan, February 26-March 1) trade fair. The product range that will be displayed during the Automechanika will vary from 160mm suitable for small commercial vehicles to 430mm clutch plates and covers for heavy commercial vehicles. The company currently supplies to the Tata Ace, Tata Sumo, Maruti 800, Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra Scorpio and the Force Traveller, among many vehicles in India. Jaya Hind Montupet’s new Greenfield facility at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh is set to go into production in June 2015. The plant will make aluminium cylinder heads for the automobile industry. JHM, a 50:50 joint venture company between Pune-based Jaya Hind Industries (a Firodia group company) and Montupet SA of France, is investing Rs 200 crore in the first phase of the project.
Jaya Hind Industries has been conferred the prestigious international OHSAS 18001 certification from TUV. The certificate is awarded for conformance to the stringent Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The certification was received by Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Jaya Hind from Mr. Milind Shende, of TUV.
The ISO 14001 certification is yet another feather in Jaya Hind’s cap. The ISO 14001 procedures represent best management practices as defined by consensus amongst the representatives of more than 50 international standards bodies.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Prasan Firodia said,
“This is indeed a great achievement for JHI. Implementing occupational safety, healthy working environment norms in Pressure Die Casting has been our main priority. We are proud to be the second company in India in the aluminum foundry business (Large Scale Sector) to have achieved both OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certifications. ”
This recognition came hot on heels of the ‘KAIZEN - Vendor Performance award for 2009-10’ bestowed by Maruti Suzuki. The award was received by Mr. M. V. Khandekar, Deputy Divisional Manager – Sales on behalf of JHI at a glittering ceremony held in the Hotel Leela Kempinski at Gurgaon, on 31st July, 2010.
The same day, saw JHI winning yet another recognition – the ‘Yellow Belt’ instituted by ‘Mahindra Institute of Quality. It was awarded to Mr. Omkar Kulkarni, Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance, JHI, in recognition of his contribution in resolving various quality issues.
Winning awards in rapid succession not only recognizes the dedication of Team Jaya Hind Industries to manufacturing efforts and support services but also in implementing safety systems and procedures.
