Recognizing the efforts that has taken to produce and supply parts to Cummins Worldwide plants during COVID-19 pandemic period, Cummins Inc. has awarded COVID-19 Outstanding Supplier award 2020 to Jaya Hind Industries Ltd. The company has prioritized Cummins parts and managed resources during Covid-19 with all safety precautions, which helped Cummins to avoid line disruptions and premium freights.

Jaya Hind Industries wins for the fifth time “Best Foundry-Large Scale” award at the ALUCAST 2018 held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
This is the first time that a foundry has won this award five times.
The Association of Aluminum Die-casters and Equipment Manufacturers of India announces this award after a detailed assessment of all participating foundries on commitment to quality in all aspects of manufacturing, products manufactured, quality and systems and continuous investment in new technologies.

Jaya Hind Industries was awarded for its Supplier Performance by Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) for outstanding support to the Volvo Eicher JV. The plaque was handed over by MD and COO, Mr. Anil Agarwal, at the VECV Supplier Conference on 26th April 2018 in Indore. The conference was attended by more than 350 vendors and 1000 delegates from top Indian and global auto component vendors.

VECV, the joint venture between Volvo and Eicher, holds major market share in the light-to-medium duty (LMD) trucks segment in India. To break through the competitive commercial vehicle market, VECV turned to Jaya Hind to manufacture precision aluminum pressure die casting parts for its newly launched Pro series vehicles. Jaya Hind successfully handled the ambitious volume and supplied engine and gear box parts ready for assembly to VECV's Pithampur plant.

The new VECV vehicles have been received well in the commercial vehicle segment, doubling demand in one year for Pro-series vehicles. JHI rose to the challenge once again, ramping up production and helping VECV bag 32% market share in LMD vehicle range. Aided by JHI's engineering and production capabilities, Volvo Eicher has consistently increased market share in Medium and Heavy Duty trucks over the past three years.

This award reaffirms Jaya Hind's supply and quality standards, as it prepares to increase supplies to meet VECV's target growth of 10% for this year.

Jaya Hind Industries received the most prestigious award of “Best Foundry – Large Scale” in the year 2016. This is the fourth award being bestowed on Jaya Hind which is a record in itself. ALUCAST, the Association of aluminium die casters and equipment manufacturers, conducted the audit of all participating foundries where foundries were assessed on several criteria like level of technology, equipment installed, products manufactured, customers served, quality and systems, past, present and future business, certifications for systems, environment & safety, best practices followed and many more. Jaya Hind Industries was chosen as Best Foundry on overall basis based on its performance on all these criteria.

Jaya Hind Industries Ltd. (JHI) recieved a "Special contribution Award" from Renault Nissan on June 3, 2014 at Chennai. This prestigious award is in appreciation and recognition of JHI’s special contribution in gearbox housing production for Renault Nissan India vehicles. JHI’s expertise and support has helped localize the gearbox housings production, which was initially a part of the imported kit.

Jaya Hind won this award for the new Eicher Pro series range of Commercial Vehicles, which required re-engineering of the engine and gearboxes with complex Aluminium Pressure Die Casting (APDC). Jaya Hind Industries was selected over other competitors to develop and supply these complex APDCs parts. This award is an appreciation of the on-time fulfilment of the client’s requirement and Jaya Hind Industries’ outstanding contribution towards new product development.

Jaya Hind Industries was honoured with an award by Rane TRW Steering Systems Ltd., on April 25, 2012. This award is given to JHI in recognition of "Commendable Supply Performance and Excellent Support for the year 2011-2012". Rane TRW, a Chennai based Steering Systems company, is also celebrating its Platinum Jubilee in this year. Jaya Hind has been closely associated with Rane TRW since the year 2003 and has been supplying Aluminium castings like Pump Housings-Diesel and Petrol. These casting are extremely crucial to manufacture because of thick mass and wall sections to withstand the heavy oil pressure of about 80 to 100 bars. JHI is proud of its capability to make such critical castings optimally.
